Nuclear spins ubiquitously present in diamond nitrogen-vacancy (NV) center systems exhibit exceptional properties as quantum resources, including long coherence times, efficient polarization, and versatile readout modalities. This report systematically investigates quantum control and measurement methodologies focusing on the central electronic spin of NV centers and its neighboring 14N nuclear spin and 13C nuclear spins. The presentation is structured into four key sections: (1) fundamental properties and quantum measurement/control of NV center systems; (2) experimental sample preparation and measurement/control system setup; (3) coherent manipulation of nuclear spins and fast two-qubits controlled operations via dynamical decoupling techniques; and (4) observation of metastability in open quantum dynamics of a solid-state system.

个人简介:

Jun-Xiang Zhang received his B.S. degree from Xi’an Jiaotong University in 2020. He is currently a Ph.D. candidate at the Laboratory of Solid-State Quantum Information and Computing (Group Q04), Institute of Physics, Chinese Academy of Sciences. His research focuses on quantum control and quantum measurement. He has authored/co-authored multiple publications in leading journals including Nature Communications and Physical Review B as first or second author.
